We’re thrilled to welcome author Katya Apekina to celebrate her book, “Mother Doll,” on Thursday, 9/12 at 6:30pm at Second Story!
“Mother Doll” is a sharp, kaleidoscopic novel about the shadow of trauma in Russian history that follows four generations of mothers and daughters. This novel, which @voguemagazine calls “the best of 2024,” has starred reviews from Kirkus, Publisher’s Weekly and Shelf Awareness.
This event is made possible by The Auburn English Department! The author will read excerpts from her book while discussing her work with Assistant Professor of English Maria Kuznetsova. Katya will also stay after the event to sign copies of her book.
